Created as a business center on the outskirts of Savannah, the park was at the time of development considered pioneering.  Central to the park’s development was the development of a master storm water pond, serving also as an amenity and anchor for the future building development.  The initial grouping of office buildings were designed around “Savannah squares”, reminiscent of downtown historic district.  The squares are landscaped amenity areas with brick pathways, tree alleys and benches for seating.
