Huntersville Business Park breaks ground on a 78,318 square foot flex building
Starting it off with a ground breaking, construction is under way on the 78,000 square foot flex building at The Park-Huntersville, a business development off Gilead Road, near Interstate 77, Global manufacturing company Forbo Siegling has signed a long-term lease for 58,670 square feet in the facility called the Caldwell Building. The building is designed by WGM Design, Inc., and Intercon will build the flex building which is expected to be completed by April 2014.

Cannon School breaks ground on a Performing Arts Center
The center will have 450 seats, an art gallery, a full stage and backstage and state-of-the-art acoustics, audio and video capabilities, according to the school. The space will be for chorus, band, theater, dance and visual arts classes and will be used as a gathering place for the school. The center is designed by WGM Design, Inc., and Summit Developers, Inc. will build the facility. The school hopes to complete the center’s construction in June 2014.

Voices of Youth Advocates - February 2013 Digital Issue: Acknowledges Providence Day School Learning Commons
The newly redesigned Learning Commons is located on the second floor of the Thompson-Jones Library. The second floor houses the main library for the middle school and upper school students, a library classroom, six tutoring rooms, two world languages classrooms, offices, and a conference area. On the first floor of the library are the lower school library, two middle and upper classrooms and a conference room. The newly designed space is 1,320 square feet of the 17,920 square feet of the second floor. The middle and upper school library is 8,800 square feet.
